The World Series is an International Competition organised in cooperation with the FAI - World Air Sports Federation. Virtual pilots will fly 16 races in 16 different countries, in order to promote our sport across the globe.

It aims at providing virtual pilots with a Virtual Gliding Championship running on a calendar year. We expect this series to attract both current glider pilots and many people who may aspire to compete in glider contests.

This event is a free event and rules might be adapted throughout the year, to be able to organise a Virtual World Gliding Championship in 2024 with solid rules, adapted to Virtual Gliding.

Pilots will race in different classes and different formats (RT, AAT, VSGP) throughout the year.

All races are scored with 1000 points. All points added throughout the year to the Championships’ table.

The World Series 2023 starts in February 2023. The last venue will be in Narromine, Australia, on the 16th of December 2023.
