Let’s take a look back at what made this series a success, culminating in the announcement of our final standings.

About the FAI eSports Series 2025

The FAI eSports Series is designed to test and adapt rules for our official events. These are often "one-shot" events aimed at providing fun races and a great spectacle for the public. With the release of Condor 3 in late October 2024, and the subsequent updates, it was the perfect opportunity for FAI Virtual Gliding to host its first event on this new soaring simulator, to test it out and fine-tune our setups. Now is the time to gather feedback from the organizers and pilots, and to evaluate all the pros and cons of this new version. This is crucial work as we strive to create even more enjoyable and exhilarating events in the future.

A Journey of Unforgettable Moments

The series kicked off with intense racing, as highlighted in our article “Thrilling Start to the FAI eSports Series 2025”. The opening races introduced tight finishes and impressive performances, setting the stage for what would become one of the most competitive and exciting seasons yet.

As the series progressed, the challenges only grew, with Races 5 through 8 delivering stunning backdrops, tricky weather conditions, and dramatic moments. These final races tested every aspect of the pilots’ abilities, as recapped in our “Thrilling Conclusion: Races 5 to 8” feature. From strategic ridge runs in the Austrian Alps to nail-biting finishes in Slovenia, the pilots left it all on the virtual skies.
