Debriefing of the Virtual SGP of Zar (Poland)

What a busy month we have had so far!

With two Virtual SGPs to run in two consecutive weeks, it has been a challenge for the organizing team and the pilots!

Sebastien was back at work in the team, and our main commentaror Normen was able to comment Race 2 with the fans on Twitch, Facebook and Youtube. Rewatch the race above!

The pilots were supposed to fly the exact same races as the real SGP event in Zar, but due to several issues (amongst them: tasks built too long for an SGP); the team has been very busy to redesign task that would fit the virtual pilots needs during the first few days of the event.

The event still run smoothly and we have been able to witness some great battles at the front! Remember: for every qualifying VSGP, the first two pilots qualify to the Final Event.

Take some time to review below the description of the tasks, and the race results!

The pilots were able to fly in Zar thanks to our event partner CondorWorld, who offered the landscape CW-C for free!

Race 7

The last and final race was intense and very difficult for the pilots! It was commented by Ben Fest, Antoine Havet and Sebastien Chaumontet.

The strong 45km/h wind blowing from the NW was helping the pilots to fly to turnpoint 2, but it was very difficult then for them to get back to the airfield. We witnessed several safe outlandings, and an intense arrival for most of the pilots. Replay the race with us above!

At the end of the day, Artur Dziuk (POL) crossed the finish line first, winning the day and the qualifying event!

He was closely followed by Stewart Henshall (UK) and David Redman (AUS)!

The final Race was 215km long.
TP 1:628 TRINEC (307 m.)
TP 2:403 ORAVICE MAGU (1,231 m.)
TP 3:082 PRZEGIBEK (665 m.)
Finish:099 ZAR_FIN (665 m.)

On overall results, Jakub ‘Kuba’ Jedruszkiewicz qualifies for the World Final as well, and Stewart takes the last position on the podium, and enters the reserve list for the final.

Congratulations to all the pilots who competed to this event in Poland! We will see you in a few days in Lithuania.

There are still 8 events that will allow the pilots to qualify to the final! Will you be amongst them? Register now!
