Race 4 in Sweden: Australian pilot David Redman wins
It was the first livestreaming of the 2nd Virtual SGP for our team!
We have gladly welcomed Ben Fest (1st Virtual SGP World Champion) and Normen Schindowki as new members of the broadcasting team, as they commented their first race together!
Race 4 was very exciting to follow, with a great Turn Point above Visingso island, in the middle of one of the biggest lakes of Sweden.
The pilots had to fly a 246km task with moderate weather conditions. You can rewatch the race with Ben and Normen above!
The race was lead by Kuba (POL) for most of the time, before Jeroen Jennen (BEL) took other options to cross the finish line first, on the European server!
But the strongest server was the 09:30UTC one, as Australian Pilot David Redman did an impressive performance with Alex Holswilder (NED), Norbert Kiss (HUN) and Donat-Pierre Luigi (FRA). They crossed the finish line at 137kph!
In the overall results, Witold Rozak (POL) still leads the competition, closely followed by Arne-Martin Guettler (NOR) and Tamas Mayer (HUN).
Only 3 races left to get our first two pilots who will qualify to the World Final!
