Training flights to start this week!

The community was asked to vote on Discord for our first poll.

We are happy to announce that two training flights per week will be offered to the community throughout the year. Those races are often a first glimpse of what a competition is, and aims at helping the pilots to develop their skills, before competing to the first time to an official event. All training races are free, and we are looking forward to see the community flying together!

The servers will be available on the Condor serverlist under the name ‘FAI Virtual Gliding’. Get direct access here: FAI Virtual Gliding serverlist.

Everyone is invited to train every Tuesday and every Thursday on the following slots:

- Europe & Africa: 18h30 UTC

- South America & Eastern USA/Canada: 23h30 UTC

- Western USA & Canada: 02h30 UTC

- Asia/Oceania: 09h30 UTC

- Extra slot: 13h30 UTC

Those are the same slots than the ones of the Virtual SGP, to confirm that they fit in everyone’s schedule, and to allow everyone worldwide to train properly before the official events.

Additionally, one extra task will be available every Sunday for beginners/intermediate pilots willing to discover the events and the rules. The aim is that they fly the race with good weather conditions on Sunday and then fly the same race again with the experienced pilots on Tuesday, with difficult weather conditions.

The training schedule for the Virtual SGP of Boras (SWEDEN) and Zar (POLAND) is the following:
